Eep!

Y'all, I've been VERY remiss in my blogging.  *ducks*  Obviously, you know that, but I took a little vacation from 99% of the interwebs.  Just a lot of stuff going on and needed some me time. 

Not to worry.  Things are great!  Well, as great as they can be at the moment.  :)  Work's good.  Family's good.  I've got a killer headache, but that's par for the course.  Bleh!

Lots of holiday stuff coming up.  Went to a lovely dinner at the church my parents started attending.  It was a ladies night and we had it catered from an Italian restaurant in Plymouth.  And y'all?  Some of the best Italian food I've ever had!  It was just fun!  :)  I admit I haven't been the most social of people here, so it was nice to get out and have some fun. 

Next week is Thanksgiving already.  Time certainly does fly by.  It'll be family & one of the coworkers who came back here with us from Portland.  All of his family's back there, so we've basically adopted him while he's here.  He's good people, so we should have a good time.  Plus, my SIL is cooking and she's amazing!  Makes the best turkey I've ever had.  :)

I might actually be able to go back to Portland next year.  I got my bonus today.  Shocked is what I was.  I thought my SIL was bluffing when she told me how much it was.  :)  So, I'll sock 90% of it into savings and go back next year.  Yay!  I miss my friends.  I don't miss Portland at all, except for the food.  The food here?  Sucks!  :(

My writing is getting back on track.  My CP is kicking my butt.  I'm kicking hers too, so we'll both hopefully have something concrete done sooner rather than later.  That's the plan anyway.  :D

That's really all I've got right now.  Life is good for the most part.  Blogging will come and go.  We'll see what next year brings for me in the blogging front.
